Spruce Grove Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture

A Holistic Approach

Facial Rejuvenation acupuncture takes a holistic approach to skin care. During the initial consultation we will go over your health history and create a treatment that will improve not only your skin, but your overall health.

Benefits of Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture include:

  • Reduced fine lines and wrinkles
  • Improved skin texture
  • Reduced discoloration
  • Reduced appearance of scars
  • Reduced Acne
  • Reduced Jaw tension
  • Improved sleep
  • Improved digestion
  • Improved mood

**If your health benefits include acupuncture, then facial acupuncture will be covered as well**

Facial Acupuncture

Facial acupuncture is generally painless, as we use our thinnest, most delicate needles. These needles measure just 0.12 mm, compared to 0.25 mm for standard body acupuncture needles, and approximately 2.5 mm for a typical injection needle used by a physician or pharmacist.

To experience the full benefits of Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture, a series of treatments is recommended. Ideally, treatments are scheduled once per week for 6–8 weeks, followed by monthly maintenance sessions to support long-term results.

Facial Gua sha and Cupping

Facial Gua Sha or Facial Cupping is performed by first applying a nourishing moisturizer to the skin. A Gua Sha tool or small facial cup is then gently guided over the face to relax facial muscles, encourage lymphatic drainage, and stimulate healthy blood flow to the skin.

Cautions and Contraindications

Results will vary depending on lifestyle factors such as:

  • Diet
  • Exercise
  • Stress management
  • Smoking/ Alcohol consumption
  • Number of appointments
  • Other environmental factors

Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture may not be right for you if you:

  • Have a bleeding disorder
